Care

• Water your plant about once a week or every 10 days.Lukewarm or room temperature water works best since cold water can put plants into shock. Fiddle leaf figs like thorough waterings, but do not like to sit in water. To prevent this, let the water completely drain out from the bottom and ensure the pot's tray or saucer is dry.
• Prefer to dry out slightly between waterings, and while they take a good deal of water to keep healthy, soggy soil will drown the plant. If your leaves start to brown and fall and the soil is moist, let the plant dry out until the soil becomes completely dry.
• Fiddle Leaf Figs should be placed in front of a window that will receive direct morning or afternoon light. Ideally, what you're aiming for is a window with a mostly unobstructed eastern, western, or southern exposure — you don't want trees or close buildings shading the window.
• Fiddle Leaf Figs are tropical plants and love a humid environment. However what you may not know is how little misting helps to increase humidity. ... The only time misting is beneficial is to use a spray bottle on any new leaves forming at the top of the plant around twice daily.
